01 / THE WORK BEHIND THE WORK

Versioned brand releases, from design tokens to finished assets.

A folder of logos does not explain which colors, exports, or versions belong together. Line is being designed to turn a vector project into an approved brand package that other teams can use consistently.

Where it stands

The source foundation is imported. Brand package approvals and the connected release interface are planned.

02 / THE PLANNED TOOLKIT

Built around
your real work.

The intended Line experience.
Feature availability will be confirmed before release.

  1. 01

    Create vector paths and illustrations

  2. 02

    Organize artboards and reusable symbols

  3. 03

    Define reusable brand tokens

  4. 04

    Prepare channel-specific exports

  5. 05

Review print and web preflight results

  6. 06

    Release a versioned asset package

A CLOSER LOOK / FEATURE DESIGN

How Line
is intended to work.

Explore the behavior behind the feature names: what the product would do, and what the reviewer would still need to decide.

01Versioned brand tokens

Intended behavior

Colors and reusable design decisions would be collected with the vector assets that use them. A release would name the approved combination.

What to inspect

Check whether token aliases, print values, and accessibility requirements are sufficiently defined for downstream use.

02Target-aware export

Intended behavior

A release recipe would generate specified formats and sizes from approved artboards. Preflight would report missing resources and target-rule violations.

What to inspect

Inspect rendered outputs; file extension alone does not establish suitability for print or screen.

03Managed brand updates

Intended behavior

Consumers would reference a brand version and receive a candidate update when a new package is approved. Existing work could remain pinned until reviewed.

What to inspect

Account for local deviations and avoid silently replacing approved campaign assets.

03 / THE MRGI DIRECTION

Where we’re taking Line.

Three product-specific priorities shaping the proposed MRGI experience.

01

Tokens and assets released together

Keep the palette, reusable elements, and generated files tied to one reviewed brand version instead of scattered folders.

02

Preflight at the release boundary

Make the intended print or screen requirements part of the export recipe and report exceptions before the package is shared.

03

Downstream work with a known version

Let Pixel, Layout, and Interface reference an approved package, then review brand updates rather than silently mixing versions.

These are development goals, not claims of shipped features or market exclusivity. AI, local operation, and automation are shared foundations—not the entire product distinction.

04 / BETTER CONNECTED

A next step
for every good idea.

Publish an approved brand package to Pixel, Layout, and Interface for consistent reuse.

  1. 01

    Define

Create the mark, symbols, and token set.

  2. 02

    Prepare

Generate assets for the intended channels.

  3. 03

    Release

Review a versioned package for downstream use.

Assistance with a defined role.

Planned assistance can propose asset variations or surface inconsistent token use. Brand decisions and release approval remain with the designer.

Cross-app access is planned around selected resources and explicit consent. Ordinary local editing should not require uploading your files.

BUILT ON OPEN-SOURCE FOUNDATIONS

Paths, artboards, symbols, SVG/PDF, and scriptable exports exist in VectorCraft. Versioned brand release governance is the proposed MRGI focus. Read the source credits ↗
